Dr. Anthony Herron, Jr. D.Min., Senior Pastor
Anthony Herron serves as the Senior Pastor of our church. Anthony is married to Ashley Herron. Anthony and Ashley have two sons, Anthony Ashton Herron and Austin Luke Herron.
Anthony accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in the spring of 1997 at a Tuesday night choir rehearsal at Antioch Church of God in Christ in Omaha, Nebraska. Anthony received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the fall of 1999. On October 15, 2001 Anthony publicly accepted his call to the gospel ministry under the leadership of the late Pastor Algie L. Parker at Antioch Church of God in Christ in Omaha, Nebraska. Anthony was licensed a minister at age 18 in the Church of God in Christ in the Nebraska First Jurisdiction Under Bishop John H. Ford, Sr. on July 27, 2003.
Anthony was installed/consecrated as the pastor of Remnant Church during the first year Church Anniversary Service Celebration on December 3, 2016 performed by the late Bishop Ervin Sims, Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas.
Anthony graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Anthony completed a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education Administration) from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Anthony has a Master of Arts in Practical Theology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. Anthony has a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Ministry Leadership with High Distinction from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oklahoma. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young, LLP in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ashley Herron, Lead/Executive Pastor
Ashley co-labors with her husband as the pastor of our church.
Ashley was raised at Madden Temple Church of God and Christ in Kansas City, Kansas. Ashley was licensed as a Missionary in the Church of God in Christ. Ashley has participated in world missions to include Canada, Mexico, and Ghana West Africa. Ashley has served in youth ministry, Sunday School, and women’s ministry.

Ashley graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Ashley has a minor in Evangelism from Oral Roberts University. Ashley has a Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Public Health Promotion and a certificate in Public Health Promotion. Ashley worked several years for the State of Oklahoma in programs to help seniors and disabled citizens.
Ashley did post-graduate work at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. Ashley has a Master’s of Arts in Family and Marital Counseling Program from Mid America Christian University.
